Texas teacher ‘no longer employed’ after saying his race ‘is the superior one’
An unnamed Texas middle school teacher at a Pflugerville ISD middle school is “no longer employed” after video footage captured what administrators describe as an “inappropriate” conversation between him and his students, the district told ABC News.
The teacher hasn’t been publicly identified by school officials. The video clip of the educator at Bohls Middle School has since went viral.
In the video, the teacher tells a few students inside a classroom saying, “Deep down in my heart, I’m ethnocentric, which means I think my race is the superior one.”
Joshua Howard Luellen, better known as the record producer Southside, posted a video of the incident involving his son on his Instagram page. The producer explained in the caption that he’s teaching his child to always stand up for himself.
