Florida parents of 5-year-old found after he was dropped off at wrong school
Florida child protective services officials are investigating after 5-year-old Lauderdale Lakes elementary school student was dropped off at the wrong school earlier this week. This caused a distraught search for his parents according CBS News.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office quickly asked for the public’s help to find the parents of the student after he was dropped off at Park Lakes Elementary School around 9 a.m. Investigators released a written statement issued around 3:45 p.m. that day the boy’s parent’s were located.
The boy was discovered walking around the school although he wasn’t registered to attend the school. He was initially placed in the care of Child Protective Services before his parents were located.
As of now, its not clear if the parents would face charges or led him to be dropped off at a school he didn’t attend.
