Olympic Hurdler Eddie Lovett Is A Member Of Phi Beta Sigma
Were you aware that Olympic athlete Eddie Lovett is a member of Phi Beta Sigma? Lovett pledged the Zeta Kappa Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Eddie Lovett is a 110-meter hurdles specialist who was born in the United States and now lives in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He is currently a volunteer assistant coach at Penn State University. Penn State was where he worked as a volunteer assistant coach when he represented the U.S. Virgin Islands at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
In Miramar, Florida, Lovett won a gold medal in the 110-meter hurdles at the 2011 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships. Dayron Robles set a championship record of 13.45 in 2005, but Lovett shattered that record with a time of 13.14 seconds. Only Wayne Davis has run faster than 13.14 seconds in junior hurdle events.
