Netflix Announces Stand-Up Festival That Will Be Featuring Dave Chappelle
Netflix has recently announced a major comedy festival coming to audiences in 2022, with a lineup including Dave Chappelle, who found himself in some backlash after his latest special, The Closer.
The festival Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival will be held in 25 venues next year, including The Hollywood Bowl and The Greek Theater. The festival also includes other comedians including Kevin Hart, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, and more.
Netflix Is a Joke was initially scheduled for 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic postponed it. According to The Hollywood Reporter, many of the show will be filmed to later air as brand new specials for the streamer.
