Tessica Brown Launches Haircare Product Line Called ‘Forever Hair’

Tessica Brown announced on Instagram that she has launched her own haircare line called “Forever Hair.”

Brown, who suffered hair loss after using Gorilla Glue on her hair, says she was inspired to launch a product line in order to help people suffering from hair damage like herself, TMZ reported.

“As y’all already know about four 4 months ago I ran out of hairspray and ended up using Gorilla Glue Spray, bad bad idea and results of that I ended up losing my hair and having scalp damage. But, since then I’ve been working with professionals to create and formulate a hair root oil,” Brown said.

“I needed this oil to one, heal my scalp, I needed to grow my hair back, I needed to stimulate my hair follicles and on top of that I needed everything to be all natural,” she continued.

Brown also informed her Instagram followers that her “Forever Hair” products have “been a lifesaver.” She says after using the products for two months, her hair is a lot healthier and she’s seen substantial growth.

Earlier this year, Brown made headlines after using Gorilla Glue on her tresses. She chronicled the entire ordeal on Instagram. In February, people sat and watched her videos as she detailed the pain she was experiencing while her hair continued to harden over the course of weeks.

A Beverly Hills surgeon came across her videos and decided to assist her free of charge. She underwent a four-hour procedure and the adhesive was removed from her hair, as Blavity previously reported.

Brown’s bizarre encounter landed her in the spotlight and even caught the attention of rapper Nicki Minaj. Minaj gave Brown a shoutout in her song titled “Fractions.” In the song, the rapper says “Head game slicker than little miss Gorilla Glue.”

The woman admitted that she wasn’t a fan of being called “Gorilla Glue Girl” but, said she thought the lyric was cute and the shoutout was “pretty dope.”

Brown’s “Forever Hair” products were inspired by the Gorilla Glue mishap and are intended to give users a glue-like hold, however, unlike Brown’s experience, users will be able to easily remove the products from their hair.

Brown’s haircare products, which include hairspray, growth oil and sleek edge control, are available for purchase on Forever Hair’s website. All products are priced under $20 each.
