13-Year-Old Texas Boy Called Racial Slurs, Shot With BB Gun, Forced To Drink Urine At Slumber Party

The mother of a 13-year-old Texas boy is asking her son’s school to investigate incidents of harassment and abuse she says he faced at the hands of his classmates during a non-school-related event, according to CBS DFW.

Summer Smith said she has been reporting incidents of bullying to Haggard Middle School, where her son SeMarion Humphrey attends, for several months. However, a new occurrence has led her to bring her calls all the way up to the Plano Independent School District, which, along with the local police department, is now investigating claims that Humphrey was forced to drink urine, among other endangering activities.

On March 3, Smith took her claims to her Facebook page with a lengthy post detailing events along with a video that appears to show Humphrey having a cup of urine forced into his mouth.

“Imagine being called a n****r, a white washed blackie and a faggot daily…” she wrote. “Imagine being attacked by the same group of boys with bb guns… Imagine being forced to drink the urine of not only a boy who thought was your friend, but his friends…Imagine the video of you drinking the urine being sent to multiple people in your school… Imagine the school telling you they can’t do a thing about it because ‘the incidents didn’t all take place on campus’ My son doesn’t have to imagine these things, they are all his reality…”

Imagine being a happy kid who loves making people smile and having a good time… Imagine your classmates and football…

Smith said that the accused teenagers had only recently befriended her son. She believes that the slumber party Humphrey was invited to was intentionally planned as a means to humiliate him, as during which she alleges he was called racial slurs, hit in his sleep, forced to drink urine and shot with BB guns.

“How horrible must you be. This is not a prank. This is beyond bullying. You are evil, they are evil,” Smith said at a news conference on Friday, in regards to the accused students.

Humphrey had been previously bullied at school, but Smith said that school officials never took action.

“When you say there’s nothing you can do, what do you mean exactly? Because it seems to me that there’s plenty you can do,” she said. “It was premeditated and obvious that SeMarion was only invited for their pure entertainment.”

Plano ISD released a statement on Friday evening addressing the claims.

“Due to legal restrictions regarding the confidentiality of student information, Plano ISD is unable to release specific student information, but it can confirm appropriate measures were promptly taken to protect the victim and to investigate the allegations,” the statement read. “Plano ISD does not condone bullying, harassment, and/or threats against any student. It is the District’s hope and expectation that all parties work collaboratively to create a climate of mutual respect even in the midst of disagreement.”

The Plano Police Department is investigating the matter to determine whether or not any criminal activity took place.

“The School Resource Officer took the report yesterday (March 3rd) morning and began the investigation immediately,” the department wrote on its Facebook page, although it declined to confirm the case was in regards to Smith’s claims. “The School Resource Officer completed the report after the initial investigation and interviews and the case was assigned to a Juvenile Detective this morning (March 4th).”

Smith thanked the department in her own post.

“I am thankful for the Plano Texas Police Department because at least they have been willing to do something!” she wrote.

A GoFundMe, which has been set up to assist the family in getting mental health counseling services and pay for a private school for Humphrey, has far exceeded its $10,000 goal, totaling more than $40,000 in just two days.

According to ABC 8, hundreds of people gathered in support of Humphrey for a rally that was held following last week’s news conference.
